Xandros announced at LinuxWorld Thursday the Xandros Desktop Management Server (xDMS). This server-based suite is the first total deployment and management solution for Linux desktops in a secure enterprise environment.
With xDMS, software administrators can set up software repositories and deploy customized desktop configurations to thousands of networked desktops. The thoroughly integrated graphical application can be used to manage the deployment of Xandros Desktop OS 2.0, as well as to manage the configurations and deploy updates for other competing Linux installations.
