Description:
In booth #818, Tatung Company will demonstrate its new ultra-dense blade server family, with two new systems that support up to 10 server blades with dual low power consumption Intel Xeon or AMD Opteron processors in a single 4U chassis. The Intel Xeon-based system is a dual processor blade server that supports Intel Extended Memory 64 Technology (EM64T). The AMD Opteron-based system allows users to run 32-bit and/or 64-bit applications and operating systems simultaneously. Both systems enable customers to quickly assemble or re-deploy entire server farms with new management and scalability features. The systems are completely modular, with hot-swappable components including multiple server blades, redundant switch blades, management blades, power supplies and fan modules. Both systems enable rapid scale out for compute clusters. Remote power control, console management, automatic provisioning and task management is provided by Amphus Managesite software, which is integrated with the system.
