Palamida releases IP and licensing management system
Source: Palamida
Date: 15 Feb 2005

Description:

Palamida announced at LinuxWorld (Booth #729) the release of their system designed to ensure that companies accurately control their software intellectual property (IP) assets. The Palamida IP Amplifier Version 3.0 automatically detects, manages and reports on third party open source and commercial software components and licenses that exist in almost every company's code base. It ensures that companies adhere to license requirements and reduces the risk of costly development delays, failed audits, and legal action.

Palamida IP Amplifier is licensed on an annual subscription basis for an unlimited number of users. As with anti-virus programs, customers receive periodic updates of the Compliance Library in order to track new components.
