Nigel McFarlane Nigel McFarlane, Open Source Analyst and Author
Nigel McFarlane was an open source software analyst and technologist with a broad background in science, technology and software engineering. He was known as a leading commentator on Mozilla and Firefox technology who wrote scores of articles and several books on the subject. A 20+-year IT veteran, he got his professional start with Linux/Unix in 1980 as a systems administrator for an ancient Z80-based flavour of System V.
