QUESTION POSED ON: 31 July 2004
I have a Windows 2000 server, and now I have installed Linux on a few systems. I don't want to create separate users for Linux. Instead, I want Linux to accept Windows users and authenticate them from my server. Is this possible?

Sure. I have fully documented how to do this in Chapter 9 of my book, "Samba-3 by Example" (Prentice Hall, ISBN:0131472216). You can download a free copy of this book from this site.
