What are the advantages or disadvantages of using StarOffice or OpenOffice in non-Linux environments?

I think there are no particular OpenOffice.org-specific advantages of using it on any particular platform. It works well on Windows XP, on Windows 2000, on Solaris, on Linux. People I've talked to who have the Mac beta version say that works well, too. I really don't think operating system matters; just use the operating system you like.
