QUESTION POSED ON: 20 May 2007 Are all of Red Hat's products 100% open source? Aren't there some proprietary add-ons to the core open source operating system? If all of Red Hat's products are 100% open source, is all of that code available freely to the public?

Everything they ship with their main product is open source and source code is available at ftp.redhat.com. However, they do make some free, but proprietary, products available like Flash and Acrobat Reader; those are shipped on a separate CD.
