Things I'll be looking out for:
- Will Linux/OSS increasingly be seen
as offering a path to people seeking full control
of their systems, as opposed to the increased
vendor control envisioned by Vista and content providers?
- Will SUSE integrate with Microsoft
in a way that gives it an advantage in the market over other distros?
- Will increasingly easy-to-use
interfaces lead to an acceleration in Linux/OSS adoption?
- Will SaaS be increasingly offered as
a way to escape the platform wars?
