QUESTION POSED ON: 21 May 2008
My company runs Ubuntu with Red Hat Package Manager. It works well, except whenever a new release comes out for RedHat, we have a new dependency and use valuable time updating. Can you recommend a solution or alternative?

Canonical is currently developing a program similar to Red Hat Network called Landscape. It will be used for managing Ubuntu systems, packages, and applications. Check out its progress at http://www.ubuntu.com/news/landscape-system-management-tool.
