What should I do if OpenOffice.org freezes up?

I thought we'd gotten rid of CTL-ALT-DLT when we got rid of MS Office. Now, two users who have OpenOffice.org on their PCs have report that their mouses and keyboards sometimes freeze up when using that program, and they have to reboot. I'm stumped. Any ideas?

I'm sorry they're reporting problems with OpenOffice.org. I haven't encountered problems of that type among people I know who are using it, or myself. (I honestly can't remember the last time, if at all, OpenOffice.org froze on me.)

I'd suggest doing standard PC maintenance tasks: diskcheck, defrag. If that doesn't work try running the OpenOffice.org repair option: Start > Programs > OpenOffice.org > Setup, and select the Repair option in the window that appears.

Hope this helps.
