Triggers and MySQL

I would appreciate it if you could instruct me on triggers in MySQL. I couldn't find anything about them, and I think they don't exist. Is that true? Please help!

Triggers are not yet implemented but are on the development roadmap for MySQL 5.1. Stored procedures were implemented in MySQL 5.0, so the groundwork is laid for triggers to be implemented.
