There really aren't significant functionality differences between Novell's SuSE and Red Hat in terms of readiness or scalability. Both are very full-featured, very scalable products. Novell has put a large emphasis on system management and security for mixed environments, particularly for organizations seeking to integrate legacy NetWare infrastructure along with new Linux installs.
