Running Zeus Load Balancer on Debian Woody

My company wants to run Zeus Load Balancer (ZLB) on Debian Woody with the 2.4.18 kernel. ZLB connects an IIS box with a Windows 2000 box running SQL Server and SAS. The problem I'm having is that the Debian box is making IPv6 DNS queries to find the SQLServer and coming up empty ("Server Failure" in the tcpdump traces). ODBC on the IIS box seems to interpret this as an actual failure; so it fails, too. I have uncommented "alias net-pf-10 off" in /etc/modutils/aliases and ran update-modules. I also rebooted; but the IPv6 queries continue. What have I missed?
