OpenOffice 2.0 use with ODBC
Will OpenOffice increase the total rows it is capable of handling in its spreadsheet to one million? Can I use ODBC data sources with OpenOffice?

I'm not sure what plans OpenOffice.org has; you can keep an eye up developments at www.openoffice.org.

You can use ODBC with OpenOffice.org. When you choose File > New > Database, you'll see ODBC in the bottom dropdown list as one of the options.
