I couldn't attend the MySQL Conference, but I saw that there was a track called "deadly sins." Could you tell me what some of the "no-no's" (as the description says) of using MySQL in a business might be and how to avoid them?
The author of that session is Arjen Lentz, Community Relations Manager for
MySQL AB. Arjen does not publish the slides of summary of the session for fear
that unknowing users will come across them and not realize that the session is
about what NOT to do.
That said, the session generally talks from a technical point of view and lists some of the common mistakes that are made such as issuing a DELETE without a WHERE clause.
Arjen is generally quite good about sending the slides to those who are interested and you may want to contact him at (hisfirstname)@mysql.com.
