I was wondering if there are any Linux mail servers which support ODBC protocols -- for example, ipswitch.com's IMAIL Server has their ODBC Connector. I would like to migrate to Linux but this seems to be very important to management. Thank you for your help.
I am not aware of (others please chip in to correct me!) any IMAP that provides direct ODBC connectivity. On the other hand, Cyrus IMAP allows you to store your mail in an SQL back end (eg: MySQL or PostgreSQL) for which there are ODBC drivers for Windows as well as for UNIX.

So the short answer is: If you want an ODBC interface to mailboxes on your mail server with UNIX or Linux, yes -- you can do it!
