Integrating Nagios with Netcool
I am trying to integrate Nagios with Netcool. My plan is that Nagios (if it is possible) would send SNMP traps (when an alarm occurs) to Netcool using Net-SNMP, but I do not know how to configure it to make this happen. Do you have any advice?

I am not overly familiar with NetCool but Nagios can certainly send SMNP traps when events occur. The best way to do this is to use host and service event handlers to call the snmptrap (if you're using Net-SNMP) command and send the trap.

There is a good description of how to do this in the Nagios FAQs and you can also read about event handlers.

I also discuss this in my book on Nagios - Pro Nagios 2.0.
