How can I get Windows NT to work after installing Linux?

I have a problem installing WinNT 4 after installing Linux. If I reformat the system and install Windows, then the grub loader does not go. What is the solution for loading fresh WinNT after Linux (not dual boot)?

To get NT to reinstall the master boot record (MBR) you will need to delete the Linux partitions, then reboot the machine. Now when you install NT it should install the NT MBR.

As I recall, if you use the NT install process to delete partitions and then create a new one it does not install a new MBR.

The other way around this is to use a DOS or Win9X boot floppy and then run:

 fdisk /MBR

That is another way to solve this little glitch.
