Q

Finding open source applications

Do you know of any open source applications for real estate brokers? I can't find any applications that will run on Linux, and I'd settle for a commercial one if I could find one that ran on Linux. How would I go about finding them on my own? I got lost in SourceForge.

I am not personally aware of any open source apps for real estate brokers -- but that doesn't mean there aren't any! SourceForge has a search capability that can be very helpful. Google also can be a great resource for finding open source applications. Assuming you don't intend to make source modifications to the app, another alternative is to run a Windows-based app on Linux via WINE.
