Error loading 12.5.2 on Mac data into 12.9.2 on HP

I recently installed Sybase ASE 12.5.2 (Mac OS) on a G5 server. The databases were created in G5 server. A dump taken from an HP server with Sybase ASE 11.9.2 was loaded to the G5 server and tested working fine. Now, I took the dump from the G5 server (ASE 12.5.2) and tried to load it into th HP server (Sybase ASE 11.9.2), and I got the following error:

requested (server: , session id: 106.)

How could I solve this? What is the reason for this error?

Unfortunately this is the usual backward compatibility problem. You cannot dump an ASE database on 12.5.2 and load it into ASE database on 11.9.2! However, as you have already experienced you can load an 11.9.2 database into ASE 15.5.2. ASE recognizes this and upgrades the database to the current version successfully.
